ANTI-SPAM POLICY
This Privacy Policy has been
created to publicize our policies and practices in regards to sending unsolicited e-mails.
About Messaging
OPC maintains a web-based permission email
list management and distribution service. These Information Services provides the technology and
infrastructure; however, the respective departments manage the email lists and email
campaigns sent to those lists. In accordance with our Privacy Policy and our agreement with our Users, the Service does not share any information with any third party.
Anti-spam Policy
The Service is designed to be used for
permission/retention email marketing. The Service does NOT permit our system
to be used to send multiple unsolicited or non-consensual email (spam).

the Service, please file a report by clicking Report
Abuse and completing the form, or, forward the email you received to opt-out@opc-marketing.com.
Your report will be registered and that message(s) will be investigated for
violations of our Terms and Conditions of Use. The identity of any individual
reporting abuse will be kept confidential.
Anti-spam Policy Enforcement
OPC enforces its Anti-spam policy
using several methods:
- Upon signing up for our information pages, Clients
agree to the Terms and Conditions of Use which prohibits the use of the
Service to send unsolicited or non-consensual email (spam) and provides
for remedies to the Service for violations of this policy.
- The Service and the the Service system adheres to all state and
national laws regarding sending unsolicited bulk email, to the best of our
knowledge. Knowledge includes the general law or laws known at the time the messsage was sent, within the locality of the originating message.
- We provide ongoing training to our Marketing
and/or Support Staff to consult with our Clients and prospective
Clients on the proper methods they can use to build their relationships with email lists, as
well as educating prospective Clients on our anti-spam policies.
- The Service provides the option and recommends for Clients
to use a Double-Opt-In or Confirmed method of verifying their data.
- Upon importing a list into the Service, we verify with our
Client(s) the source of the list and the method used to acquire their name and address. The Service has the authority to quarantine questionable imported data pending
further investigation.
- All emails sent using OPC's systems include point of origin
and routing information as well as identifying information about the Campaign
that sent the message.
- The Service supports multiple OPT-OUT / REMOVE /
UNSUBSCRIBE methods including instructions and a link at the bottom of each
email distributed through the Service, automatic opt-out using reply email,
automatic opt-out using forwarding email, Global Opt-Out, and
the ability for Clients to remove emails.
- The Service maintains an OPT-OUT list that restricts our
potential Clients from adding an email address to their list that has been previously
Opted-Out.
- We track all registered complaints, and compare the rates against historical averages of abuse
complaints across our system. If we suspect a violation of our Terms and
Conditions of Use and/or Anti-spam policy, we will contact the department and
discuss the options, which may include, but not be limited to, a
warning, forcing the Client to implement our Confirmed or Double-Opt-In
system, suspension or termination of service for that Client, as well as
other remedies.
ISPs and Network Administrators
While we do our best to keep the
Service free from abuse and encourage our departments to use best practices to avoid
generating complaints, the huge volume of messages we send does generate
complaints, both to us, to our clients, and to ISPs and Network Administrators.
If you receive complaints about unsolicited email sent from our service, please
forward the email with headers to abuse@opc-marketing.com,
along with your contact information and the company you represent. We will
investigate the complaint and respond to you with the results of our
investigation.
